South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust (SWFT) is currently recruiting for new governors to represent all communities in Warwickshire. 

Your NHS Trust believes in removing barriers to ensure everyone in our community has equal access to care. By becoming a Governor, you can play a pivotal role in assisting SWFT to achieve this aim and help to shape local health services by supporting the development of strategies and plans and sharing important feedback from your area. 

SWFT, who has an ‘Outstanding’ rating from the Care Quality Commission, provides a range of healthcare services, with hospitals in Warwick, Leamington, Stratford and Shipston, as well as providing community services across the whole of Warwickshire from Alcester to Atherstone.

SWFT deliver a range of healthcare services, which includes:

  • approximately 104,000 initial outpatient appointments a year
  • approximately 209,000 follow up outpatient appointments year
  • approximately 3,000 births a year 
  • approximately 783,000 community contacts a year
