Over the last few years, the NHS has changed dramatically. From responding to Covid-19 and experiencing exceptional levels of demand, to working more closely with our partners across health and social care.
In response to this new landscape, the Trust has refreshed its strategy. The ambitious plans have been developed through feedback from staff at all levels of the organisation, partners and members of the public. This wider involvement has enabled the Trust to consider priorities, challenges and opportunities which have been incorporated into four big moves, which underpin the strategy.
- Be a very flexible employer
- Lead the NHS in carbon reduction
- Embed prevention in every service
- Home First (including Domicilliary Care) supported by technology and collaboration
These big moves will help SWFT to create healthier, happier lives. Delivering these big moves will be through organisational plans and measured as part of annual objectives.
