Warwick Hospital expands in partnership with One Retail and Noviniti
South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust has partnered with One Retail, Compass Group UK & Ireland’s retail sector and Noviniti, to transform the Warwick Hospital estate. The project is a huge investment, which will help create sustainable and accessible services alongside transforming the hospital’s main entrance look, feel and flow of people.

Thanks to wellbeing, inclusivity and flexible working, staff at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust (SWFT) have ranked their organisation fourth in the country* for recommended place to work in the national NHS staff survey. The results also place the Trust in the top five** in the Midlands for all survey themes.

Trust Frailty Service receives national recognition
South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust’s (SWFT) integrated Frailty Service, incorporating hospital and community services, has been awarded the ‘Health Tech Case Study of the Year’ for transforming Frailty and Elderly Care in the Health Tech News (HTN) Now Awards 2023/24. The collaborative team, who continually demonstrate remarkable commitment in addressing the complex healthcare needs of frail individuals in our community, has received this recognition alongside Consultant Connect, a UK-founded telemedicine provider.

Developing Cardiology services at Warwick Hospital
On Tuesday 12 December, a Cardiology Conduction System Pacing Day was held at Warwick Hospital. The Cardiology Team at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust (SWFT) ran the event to introduce an innovative approach to their staff and external organisations.

Special guest opens new facilities at children’s ward
On Friday 1 December, a very special guest opened the new facilities on Macgregor Ward at Warwick Hospital. Returning patient, Joseph Froggatt and his mum Lucy were invited to officially open the new specialist spaces - a playroom and activity area, an adolescent recreational space, a sensory room with specialist equipment to allow children to decompress away from the busy ward, and a bereavement suite/quiet room.
