Out-of-hours and weekends

Outside of office hours, urgent queries should be directed to the on-duty Director. We will do our best to get back to you, however, please note that this is for urgent messages only. All other enquiries will be dealt with during office hours as normal media queries.

Filming requests

We receive requests for documentary and location filming. All proposals will be considered and accommodated where possible or appropriate. Proposals for filming should be referred to the Communications Team.

We have a text message service available for people with hearing difficulties. Please contact +44(0)7818 521341. This is strictly a text messaging service and in-coming calls to this number, are not accepted.

Your text message will be received by our main switchboard who will forward your message to the relevant ward or department who will then provide a response.

Please include the following information when sending a text message:

• Your full name
• Your contact details this could either be a phone number (for text response) or e-mail address
• A short message detailing your question or query

We are introducing automated calls and text messages to remind you about your appointment.

You will be asked whether you can still attend. If you can’t, we will offer this appointment to another patient.

Information on hearing aid batteries

During this time you can either visit Stratford Hospital to collect batteries or ring +44(0)1926 482668 and we will post out batteries to you.
